yalla ya! To Compete in Hackathon at 2009 Nokia Summit in Monaco

To parallel the excitement behind attending the Forum Nokia Developer’s Summit in Monaco on April 28th and 29th,  yalla ya! will be competing in a Nokia Hackathon aimed at developing consumer requested widgets for the Nokia N-97.

After recieving thousands of entries from consumers, Forum Nokia settled on the top ten widgets to be developed during a 24-hour Hackathon by attendees of the Developer’s Summit. These developers (yalla ya! included) will be developing applications in front of live cameras and Summit delegates to develop the best widgets for the Nokia N-97. At the end of 24-hours, the widgets will go before a panel of judges to see which team’s winning application will be chosen.

This is an exciting opportunity for yalla ya! to show Forum Nokia delegates how well yalla ya! adapts to new technologies as well as live challenges. The winning widget will not only win the distinction of being featured in the Nokia Ovi Store, but will be recognized as a real leader in mobile application and development technologies.
